What is Non PC?

Non PC was created in early 1996 in response to the government's challenge of free speech on the Internet. As talk of the Communications Decency Act grew, so did Non PC. It started as an effort to take a stand for the First Amendment. It became a place for people to voice their opinions, politically correct or not, about censorship.

Now, Non PC is a public forum for discussion on any topic. It is also a place to publish your poems, stories, articles, pictures, reviews, etc. Non PC is a collective. It is not owned, nor censored by anyone. Non PC is your web site. Do with it what you will....

How do I get involved?

The process is very simple. You send e-mail or snail mail to Non PC and it gets published. Of course, at some point, space may become a problem, but for now, it's wide open!

Electronic Directions - Send your e-mail to: oreyo@ix.netcom.com. Please let us know whether you are sending a Rant, Rave, or Revolution submission in the subject of the e-mail. That's it... pretty simple. You will be notified once the submission is up and running.

What About Snail Mail? - Email us for the address at: oreyo@ix.netcom.com. Please note that we are not willing to key in your submissions. (Excuse us for having a LIFE!) So, all info must be sent on an IBM-compatible disk and must be readable in Word for Windows. Graphics of any kind must be in GIF or JPEG format on an IBM disk.

Rants are anything but reviews and revolutionary ideas. This includes, but is not limited to, poetry, short stories, articles, drawings, etc. Basically, this is your chance to show off your talents globally.

Raves are reviews, good or bad, about any subject on or off the Internet. You can review web sites, movies, plays, or just tell us why something sucks or is really cool. You give can give "Rave Reviews" or a "Rave Lunatic Award." It's up to you.

The Revolution section is dedicated to freedom, and related topics. Feel free to add your ideas on politics, censorship, etc. Spark a heated on-line debate!

Do I get my own byline?

Yes, of course. By submitting information to Non PC, you agree to allow the printing of your name and e-mail link along with your submission, unless you specify otherwise. If you have a home page you would like us to link, or if you prefer to remain anonymous, that's o.k. too. Just remember to include this information along with anything you send to Non PC.
